
Funnel Cake Batter Ingredients

Step 1: Preheat Oven
Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
Step 2: Prepare Topping
Melt the butter in a 9-inch round cake pan over medium heat.
Remove from heat and sprinkle the brown sugar evenly over the melted butter.
Arrange pineapple slices on top of the brown sugar. Place a cherry in the center of each pineapple slice if using.
Step 3: Make Funnel Cake Batter
In a medium bowl, combine the Hero Pineapple Compound, Krusteaz Funnel Cake Mix, and cold water.
Mix until smooth and well combined.
Step 4: Assemble Cake
Pour the prepared funnel cake batter over the pineapple slices in the cake pan, spreading it evenly.
Step 5: Bake
Bake in the preheated oven for 30-35 minutes or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
Step 6: Cool and Serve
Allow the cake to cool in the pan for 10 minutes.
Run a knife around the edge to loosen, then invert the cake onto a serving plate. Serve warm or at room temperature.
