Funnel Cake Batter Ingredients

Hero Pineapple Compound
198 g / 7 oz
Krusteaz Funnel Cake Mix
113 g / 4 oz
Cold Water

Topping Ingredients

57 g / 2oz
Unsalted Butter​
100 g / 4 oz
Brown Sugar​
Pineapple slices (canned or fresh)​
Maraschino cherries (optional)​
Preparation
​Step 1: Preheat Oven

Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).

Step 2: Prepare Topping

Melt the butter in a 9-inch round cake pan over medium heat.​

Remove from heat and sprinkle the brown sugar evenly over the melted butter.​

Arrange pineapple slices on top of the brown sugar. Place a cherry in the center of each pineapple slice if using.

Step 3: Make Funnel Cake Batter​

In a medium bowl, combine the Hero Pineapple Compound, Krusteaz Funnel Cake Mix, and cold water.​

Mix until smooth and well combined.

Step 4: Assemble Cake

Pour the prepared funnel cake batter over the pineapple slices in the cake pan, spreading it evenly.

Step 5: Bake

Bake in the preheated oven for 30-35 minutes or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.

Step 6: Cool and Serve

Allow the cake to cool in the pan for 10 minutes.​

Run a knife around the edge to loosen, then invert the cake onto a serving plate. Serve warm or at room temperature.​
